SoloDiesel Conference 2010

A meeting of importers that have been united in conquering the automobile market with the product SoloDiesel has become some kind of tradition. Already for the second year in a row, the distributor Alara d.o.o. in cooperation with the manufacturer Arex, d.o.o. organized a conference, which was attended by the majority of importers. The following participants attended: from the Norwegian company Keis AS, which is represented by Mr. Dag Omar Kvalvaag and is a sales representative for SoloDiesel Caps for Scandinavia, from Great Britain Mr. Lee O'Neil, who distributes products through the company Misfuel Systems Ltd., from Italy and the company Metano Bologna, Mr. Luca Possenti and Mr. Enea Rappini, from Germany Mr. Henning Pahl from the company Pahl GmbH, Benelux represented by Mr. David Blom from the company Blomness, and the representatives of the Slovenian, Austrian markets and the majority of the companies of the Eastern EU were Blaž Turk and Rik Resnik from the company Enigma Novo Mesto. The only company missing was the Swiss company Augros-Lumecor AG. It has been a good year since the product has been on the market and the distribution network has been implemented almost all across of Europe. The only ones missing are France, Spain and Portugal, which are going to be very interesting potential markets in the future with the added models of some French brand names such as Citroën and Peugeot.


With its preventative function of preventing the filling of the wrong fuel in a diesel powered engine, the SoloDiesel Cap has enraptured many end users, who know what the cost is and the consequence of filling your tank with the wrong fuel. In today's fast paced world, this can happen instantaneously to the best and even those who are most careful. Many retail networks, automobile manufactures and sales networks of new automobiles and equipment have already included the product in their assortment of products. Some automobile clubs have offered the product to their clients, who really take care of their clients and they do not only represent a source of income for their "unfortunate experiences". There are more and more rent a car services, leasing houses and insurance companies joining their lead. In the majority of European companies the cost of filling your car with the wrong fuel is excluded from insurance due to the amount and frequency and the cost must be covered by the owner themselves. However, organizations which in addition to direct costs also know their opportunistic costs and provide for all their users, have established that by purchasing a cap they quickly make a saving, there is greater user confidence and the reduction of costs on a global level. Amongst other things, there is the time period when the car is not being used because of this, long court processes if the user are against the settlement, a lot of ill will and a loss of end-user confidence. In organizations and systems where many drivers are used for one vehicle and are rotated, there are situations where the filling of the wrong fuel shows up a lot later; therefore a driver who is not even at fault. In addition to this the device is environmentally friendly, since only in Europe it prevents the accumulation of millions of contaminated waste fuel on a yearly basis.


The second bigger step in bringing it closer to the end user is participation at the Geneva Automobile Fair beginning 4 March 2010, where SoloDiesel will be presented by the new distribution network in Switzerland.


All the participants have established that with the right idea, a lot of effort put forth and knowing how to penetrate the demanding European market, it is also possible to succeed in these times of crisis. In order to completely end the crisis we have chased away the "winter blues" in the economy together with the "Kurents", which are a heritage of the rich Slovenian cultural tradition.
